BALTIMORE- UMBC rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit, but could not complete the comeback and fell, 67-60, to Stony Brook at the RAC Arena. The setback was UMBC's first at home in conference play (2-4 America East, 4-15) this season. Stony Brook (5-1, 14-5) won for the sixth time in their last seven outings. Four Retrievers scored in double figures, led by senior guard Ryan Cook (Laurel, Md./Pallotti), who scored all 14 of his points in the second half.
