Orono, Maine- Host Maine shot a blistering 58.5 percent from the floor and withstood a late Retriever rally to win their fourth straight, defeating visiting UMBC, 81-66, at Alfond Arena. UMBC junior forward Chase Plummer was the Retrievers' America East Player of the Game, coming off the bench to lead the team with 14 points and nine rebounds.
