For the second time in three years, the UMBC men's soccer team (11-4-6) has reached the second round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. The Retrievers advanced to this round via penalty kicks, as they bested host Old Dominion, 4-2, after 110 minutes did not produce a score for either side. UMBC's reward is a date with the defending national champion North Carolina Tar Heels (15-3-2) on Sunday, Nov. 18. Kick-off at Fetzer Field is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
