Stony Brook, N.Y.- UMBC sophomore midfielder Stephen Ho (North Potomac, Md./Wootton) scored his first career goal in the 73rd minute and the visiting Retrievers knocked off defending America East champions Stony Brook, 1-0, at La Valle Stadium. UMBC won its third in a row and improved to 8-4-4 overall and 2-2-1 in league play. Stony Brook slipped to 9-4-1 and 3-2-0 in America East.
