BALTIMORE- Local products Dave Vaeth (Dundalk, Md./Patapsco) and Joseph Glos (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall) each scored their first collegiate goals in the first half and host UMBC (5-3-3) went on to defeat Howard (0-11), 3-1, in a non-conference contest played on the turf at UMBC Stadium. Junior Kadeem Dacres (Rosedale, N.Y./Mercer County CC) added an insurance goal for the Retrievers.
