The UMBC women's soccer team exploded for five goals against non-conference Saint Peter's for its first victory of the season and the first since Sept. 26, 2010 on Saturday evening at Jaroschak Field. Freshman forward Bria Bass (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) and freshman midfielder Preslie Quaranta (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) each accounted for two goals in the win.
