BALTIMORE � Freshman catcher Taylor Hall (Cosby, Va./Cosby) went 2-for-4 and hit her seventh homerun of the year on Saturday, but it was not enough as Boston University defeated UMBC, 6-4, in the series opener at the UMBC Softball Stadium.
