BALTIMORE- UMBC exploded for 12 second half goals and ran past Vermont, 19-11, in a key America East contest played in warm conditions at UMBC Stadium. The Retrievers won back-to-back games for the first time this season and improved to 3-2 in league play and 6-7 overall. Several Retrievers had record-setting offensive performances in the contest. Senior attacker Emily Coady set career marks with six goals and nine total points, midfield classmate Alicia Krause had a pair of goals, but tacked on a career-high five assists, and freshman attacker Abby Wilson posted a season-best five goals and six total points.
