BALTIMORE- The UMBC women's tennis team won its third consecutive match, winning five of six singles matches to defeat visiting Liberty, 5-2, in the first home match of the year played at the UMBC Tennis Complex. UMBC got over the .500 mark and improved to 6-5 on the campaign, while the Flames are playing a tough slate and fell to 1-8. Liberty was ranked ahead of UMBC in the Atlantic region entering the 2012 campaign.
