The young UMBC men's basketball team faces a stern early test after a quick turnaround as the Retrievers face host St. John's on Sunday, Nov. 13 at Carnesecca Arena. Six of the 11 Retrievers that competed in a 59-45 opening loss to Penn on Friday night were making their UMBC and NCAA Division I debuts. Radio coverage will be handled by Paul Mittermeier on V1370 (www.fox1370.com), and the contest is also available on ESPN-3, via STJ-TV. TIp-off time is set for 2:00 p.m.
