Full Title: Women's Tennis Has Excellent Fall Finish at Hokie InvitationalBlacksburg, Va.- The UMBC women's tennis team concluded the fall by competing in the 18th annual Hokie Fall Invitational from Nov. 4-6, at the Burrows-Burleston Tennis Center. Sophomore Kim Berghaus and junior Heidi Danielsson both earned fifth-place finishes at Flight A and D singles respectively. Berghaus lost a tough 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 decision to Virginia Tech's Isel Martinez-Marcos, but bounced back to win two matches to capture fifth place.
