Maryland Science Olympiad volunteers needed!
Saturday, April 23, 2016 · All Day
Off Campus
What is the MSO tournament?
Maryland middle and high school students participate and compete in over 30 different science events (e.g. engineering, chemistry, astronomy, and many more). We need lots of volunteers to help pull off the event and make this a fun day for all the kids! It is at Hopkins Homewood Saturday, April 23.
Who can help?
Anyone! Your major or experience do not matter. We need a variety of volunteers for running events, registration, directions, exam scorers, award ceremony helpers, etc.
What is involved?
You can pick which events to volunteer at, and you can choose your hours (options range from 6am - 7pm)! Volunteer event supervisors help set up, supervise, or score the games. Logistics volunteers can assist with helping lost teams, check-in/registration table, awards ceremony, scoring exams, and many more options. Food will be provided and it’s a great opportunity to gather volunteering/community service hours while gaining a meaningful experience for your resume.
