The Department of Music presents the UMBC Symphony Orchestra under the direction of E. Michael Richards.

The program will feature the Shostakovich Symphony No. 5, Op. 47; the Nielsen Flute Concerto, featuring student soloist Krisztina Der, winner of the UMBC Symphony Concerto Competition; and experts from Puccini's Tosca orchestrated by Caterina Calderoni.
