A historic focus on the life and heritage of Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, celebrating 118 since the birth of the Ethiopian monarch. There will be cultural tributes from various ethnic groups, a feature documentary from Ethiopian film maker Tikher Kidane on the life and works of the Ethiopian monarch, and a brief panel discussion on the issues of collective security and international morality, as seen through the the life example and experiences of Emperor Haile Selassie I.
