So there comes a time in everyone's life where we have to move out of mom and dad's basement (or grandma's basement in some cases) and move on with our life. Sometimes this is a forced decision and sometimes we just need the space. In this case, I am a transfer student who most likely will not recieve on-campus housing for the next semester and I am fine with that... sort of. See, living in Harford County is great but the commute back and forth over 60 miles total to UMBC every day is not (especially in rush hour traffic). Plus, my car isn't so great on gas and I'm trying to do something to save the planet since I am guilty of not always recycling. So my news today is the announcement of a search. A search for a roommate. Think about it, rent would be cheaper than living alone in an apartment, you would have some freedom, and you would make a new best friend a.k.a. me. I will warn you, I do try to make my schedule with mostly morning classes and I am in the honors program, so if you are a night owl during the week, let's just be friends instead.
