It is estimated that 30,000 people in the United States are afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a debilitating Illness that is caused by the inability of sodium ions to pass in and out of cells. This causes salty sweat, digestion problems and severe infections in the lungs. Sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority will be in the breezeway of the commons for 24 hours, wading for a cure. Help us raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, who has helped raise the life expectancy of a Cystic Fibrosis patient from early childhood into the 30s.
