I woke up today with the stabbing alerts on my phone.  Who the hell would stab someone at UMBC and for what purpose?  Did they steal some code or something?  I bet it's something really absurd.

Why is it that I can't have a concealed carry permit again?  I'm confused.  I was told by the Maryland State Police that I can't have one because I can't provide reason or strong probability that I am in a dangerous enough environment to warrant a concealed carry.  You mean living in one of the most violent cities in the world?  They told me that didn't matter, I needed a specific reason to carry.  Such as a job that requires me to work with and around guns, handling of large sums of money (over 10 grand), or a direct threat to my life.  What?

I'm glad whoever this person is doesn't have life threatening injuries, and I wish them a speedy recovery.  I'm also glad that the perp got caught, and I hope he enjoys butt rape in jail.
