Cosplay (costume+play) is to dress up as a(n) anime/cartoon/video game character. Some people take it as far as acting like the character. I've done it a few years, for Otakon. It is fun! There are those who buy their costumes, while others pour months, tears and sweat into creating it from scratch! I wish I could go to this event!
