Stop take some time to think
face the facts
For many people the truth and reality are worlds apart. However is always seems that when the truth is presented, whether it be about us or some other part of the world in which we live it is almost always received with resentment. We tend to think what we have been taught though life experience, education, and any other interaction where we have a result is correct. It seems intuitive to us to make this assumption, but not questioning is dangerous. Often times I sit and wonder why this seems to be historically a human fact. We have come a long way, but I still feel like the underlying motive is most of us do not like to think our view point is wrong. It takes a lifelong of failures to realize some sort of reality. I am no different when faced with some hard fact about myself I chose to ignore them for a long while, but we can only run for so long. Now if you read up to this point you may be wondering why I am choosing to write this.
I am writing this because I too often see most of us using technology as a medium to escape the reality of the condition in which we live. I walk around every day seeing many of us not talking to one another or we use technology as an interface between us and the actual person. Much like what I am doing now, but this seems to be the way we are choosing to deal with one another. I believe this is never talked about by people our age. Now I am not implying technology is this horrible thing that should be avoided because it does help facilitate change. For the sake of time I am not going to give you examples, but I do want to point out that many of us should start using technology as a tool not as an escape from our problems. The problem will be there whether we use technology, drugs or any other means of avoidance. I would like people to be more aware that the answer to a problem will take diligence, reflection, and failure to acquire a solution. So please really look at yourself and ask these questions and speak to your fellow human. The sooner we can do this the better our future will be.
Ps: it is late and poorly written, but you should get the point.
