Interest in adding more evening classes
An Education Available for the Entire Student Body

I am a double math and financial economics major. I enrolled at UMBC this past spring semester as a part-time student. Due to other obligations, I am only able to take classes after 5 PM twice a week. Unfortunately, the latest time slot during which either math or economics classes are available is from 5:30-6:45 PM. This limits students such as myself to one course per semester. However, there are a number of courses within other majors that are also available after 7 PM. If there were any math or economics courses scheduled at this time, students that are in situations similar to mine would be able to take at least two courses per semester.
I sense that I am not the only one suffering from a scheduling issue. I know that there are a plethora of students at UMBC with differing scheduling preferences. Many students work part-time and may have an interest in taking evening classes that would fit with their schedules.
Are there other students who would be interested in taking math or economics courses after 7:00? If there is enough of an interest, perhaps something could be worked out for the Spring 2015 semester.
