eSports Club
Let's make a club! :D

So with the success of CSL (www.cstarleague.com) with Starcraft 2 and the upcoming ivylol (ivylol.com) for League of Legends, UMBC has a quite a community of competitive players.
This got me thinking, why not make an eSports club. I think it would be a great way to get the community interested in eSports. In order to do this, I was thinking we could hold a LoL tournament and a SC2 tournament per semester. Since we had a successful SC2 tournament in the past maybe we can use our different skills to hold another one.
I want everyone to be involved so if you are involved with graphic art, programming, leadership abilities, or anything else and you want to get involved I think this would be a great platform. You can get into eSports but also have a product that you can use for resume building for example.
Also, it would be nice to have a forum where teams can easily coordinate their line ups for the upcoming seasons of CSL and IvyLoL without having to resort to email tag. We can also discuss the progress of the tournament along with other discussions.
I want to start laying down the foundations now and try to set a date for the tournaments. Perhaps we can't do everything that we want but let's try.
