Want to form/(be in) a team for hackumbc, any takers ?
First time in a hackathon, First time in the US!

Hi everyone,
I am a new master's student in computer science interested in participating in the hackathon. It'll be my first hackathon and the first time collaborating with you all (I am an International Student, see?).
I do have an idea about the (web) app that I want to build. It involves a little bit of AI as well as using back-end scripting. But if you guys/gals already have some idea on what you want to be build or have already start making a team, then I am game for that too.
About me : I wrote and sold software since my undergrad days till the time I joined the masters program here this fall. I don't have an affinity towards one technology over the other. For me, its about seeing the problem, finding the right tools and going ahead to solve it (so you see, i can't claim to be a java/.net developer, i just go with the flow)
This is one of the things i worked on :
But if you ask me what I have worked/used in the past year it'll be this
Desktop : VB.NET, Java, Innoscript
Web : Php and a general understanding of HTML,CSS,Javascript
(ie I am a web dev not a web designer)
What do I expect out of the Hackathon : This hackathon is going to be a learning experience more than anything else for me. I'll say it up front : yes i am going to give my 100% , but i am not looking to win. Its about the knowledge for me, about assessing other teams and the overall quality of our and their work.
I am looking to code , learn and to have fun in this event. If you are cool with that please do contact me at : aborle1@umbc.edu
Sorry for the long post, here's a potato!
