Questions about moto commuting and other stuff

Alright so this is for all fellow riders out there, I recently moved to catonsvile/arbutus area I have yet to bring my bike down, as I will have to store it outside. My question then is for those who ride and live near campus,
Have you had problems with theft/vandilism, or any general head ache?
Secondly Ive seen some beautiful old bikes around campus, restored 70-80's era bikes, cafe'd out hondas, and so on. I grew up around old bikes and because of that I am a bit of a fan boy when it comes to vintage, modern classic, and cafe racers, as well as the counter culture it sparked, and the sub culture that is developing now as a result. The bikes I've seen so far tell me that I'm probably not the only one with this passion, so
Would anyone be interested in a motorcycle group/ club?
Or a Facebook page to organize group rides and things like?
