Meal Plan Costs?

I will be a freshman this fall & i am trying to break down tuition & all other cost for my parents. I am trying to figure out if there are 2 ( fall and spring) or 3 (fall, winter, and spring) semester per school year. Are we charged twice or three times for meal plans and for housing.... & also when do we receive our housing assignments and room-mates. I would like to know which hall I am in.
Also is there a payment plan of sometime, a timetable for paying tuition..?

Tuition and Room and Board are broken into two semesters, so twice. You pay by the semester. You're a freshman, so you won't know your dorms until like July 31st or sometime near then; got a long wait.
