We on the Ancient Studies Council want to extend a very warm welcome to the new students beginning their UMBC experience, and to those who are returning! Many may ask, "What exactly is this club and what do you?"
Well, φιλοι, the answer to that is actually pretty simple! Our club seeks to spread the joy of learning about the Ancient Mediterranean from the Ancient Studies majors to the student body. We'll host a variety of Ancient Studies themed events including scribe school, a movie night, a textile event, and an ancient Dungeons & Dragons game night!
