John 3:16 (NIV) - “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

If we were to try to summarize the Christian message - it’s about love. Christian life is often characterized as a faith-journey and no matter where we are or what the journey is like, there is an aching in our soul, a longing that cannot really be explained, but it can be perfectly identified - John 3:16. Blaise Pascal, the famous mathematician said “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every person, and it can never be filled by any created thing. It can only be filled by God, made known through Jesus Christ.” Each person in this world is yearning and seeking for something to fill this void in their lives, and John 3:16 makes it very clear, that it is only through God’s love in Jesus Christ that this void can be filled.
