Why is service a means to grace?

It’s a means to grace because serving is our opportunity to give and live like Jesus! Jesus came not to be served but to serve and to give his life for us! We have received life through Jesus Christ. I was considering so many ways I have received so much from my brothers and sisters in the church and how I experienced God’s love and grace through them. It’s wonderful to be loved and served isn’t it? But you know what is even more wonderful? It’s learning to give and serve. We give because we have received - so much! In giving ourselves in service to others, we get to know the very heart of God because our Lord Jesus was a servant! When we give our lives to serve others, we get to live like Jesus and participate in His kingdom work!

Let’s pray that we will be His kingdom workers!
