The Career Services Center surveys UMBC students each semester to learn more about the part-time jobs students work while in school. Last spring, the average on-campus job hourly wage was $9.55, while the average hourly rate for off-campus jobs was $10.85. Of the students who responded, the average worked between 15-17 hours per week.
