Effective and timely advising is crucial to student success/degree completion. Participants will learn how to build rapport with advisees, how to make effective referrals to campus support offices, and leave with some ideas for how to more efficiently advise students within the time constraints of a busy schedule.
Session will be 1 hour of content followed by a voluntary 30 minutes of Q&A.
