New: Year-long contracts option for CAHSS adjunct faculty CAHSS departments may now offer academic-year contracts For all adjunct faculty in CAHSS:

The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences has notified departments that they now have the option to offer year-long contracts to adjunct faculty, as appropriate.

The year-long (academic year) contracts were piloted in CAHSS in 2017-2018. The pilot program is now being expanded within CAHSS.

The contract letter is much the same except that the teaching appointment is for the entire academic year (regular fall and spring terms) instead of for a semester.

If interested, please contact your department chair! These contracts help streamline the work of staff and others.

It is projected that CNMS and COEIT will pilot the year-long contract letters next; if successful, the pilot program can then be expanded within those Colleges.
