Whether you've been here one semester or 20 years, this conference is a great learning experience! There will be presentations on the library and Open Educational Resources (OERs)! Learn more about the Academic Success Center (a national model) and of course, presentations from three of AFAC's grant recipients!

Just FOUR More Days to the 2023 Adjunct Conference!!

Honestly, this is going to be a great conference! So good you might want to bring a friend!!
We will have a great round table conversation about adjunct issues with our President, Dr. Valerie Sheares-Ashby!
We will have fabulous presentations by adjuncts on their research interests (all recipients of our AFAC conference travel grants).
We will have discussions around research, publishing, and advocacy. There's so much there to learn and grow from!
Lastly, it's a chance to meet your fellow adjuncts in a shared space. To build community and help build bridges between departments, colleges, and colleagues.

Adjunct faculty from UMBC and beyond are invited to join us Saturday Sep 30, 2023 from 9am to 3pm. Fellow faculty will share their research, provide important professional development sessions on publishing, Open Educational Resources, conducting research as an adjunct, and advocacy.
