June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month
This month raises awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related conditions that impact millions of lives.

Did you know Alzheimer’s currently affects over 55 million people worldwide and as many as 5.8 million Americans? More than 40% of all Alzheimer’s-related visits made during that time were from people between the ages of 81 and 90. The average age of patients was 79.  By 2060, the CDC estimates that number could reach 95 million. Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death among U.S. adults.
